Custodians of the Bearer SharesThere are two types of custodians allowed to keep the bearer shares of the BVI IBC. Authorised CustodiansThey must be licenced as such by the BVI Financial Services Commission. Also, the BVI FSC has issued an Aide Memoire to give guidance to applicants wishing to be licenced. Recognised CustodiansThese are investment or securities clearing organisations specialised in the custody business and designated by the FSC in a jurisdiction which is an FATF member. |
