Naming the Company
Company name may be expressed in any language in Latin alphabet, if an English translation will be submitted to the Registrar. However, the corporate documents should be in English.
The names restricted are: Bank, insurance, assurance, reinsurance, trust, municipal, charter, co-operative, their foreign language equivalents or any name that, in the opinion of the Registrar, would suggest a connection with a Royal family or Government authority.
The names requiring consent or license are: Bank, building society, savings, loans, insurance, assurance, reinsurance, fund management, asset management, trust, trustees or their foreign language equivalent.
A great advantage is that for the companies in Cayman islands there is no requirement to use any suffix to denote limited liability. In most jurisdictions the companies incorporated should include the suffixes Limited, Incorporated, Corporation or their abbreviations.
