Hong Kong Company Secretary
A company secretary should be appointed who can be either a person or a corporation. If the secretary is a person, he/she must be a Hong Kong resident. A corporate secretary must have registered office or business in Hong Kong. The duties of company secretary are: serving notice to shareholders to attend meetings, preparing minutes, signing documents with the authority on behalf of the company, recording share transfers, maintaining company records in respect to the shareholders, directors and the secretary, filing notice with Companies Registry in respect of the change of shareholders, directors or secretary and their details.
