IBC Features
Seychelles IBC is a completely tax-free corporation that just should comply with some simple operation rules. According to the Seychelles legislation, all the exemptions for a Seychelles company remain in force for a period of 20 years from the incorporation date.
A Seychelles IBC may:
- Have bank accounts and deposits in Seychelles
- Maintain books and records in Seychelles
- Establish professional contacts with Seychelles attorneys, accountants, legal advisors, trust and management companies
- Lease property in Seychelles which can be used as office to keep books and records and from where to communicate with members
- Hold meetings of directors and shareholders in Seychelles
- Hold shares and securities in another Seychelles IBC's or domestic companies
- Have its shares held by residents of Seychelles
- Own vessels or aircrafts registered in Seychelles
A Seychelles IBC may not:
- Carry on business in Seychelles.
- Own real estate in Seychelles.
- Operate banking, insurance and registered agent business (these are subject to special laws and licensing).
Currency control
IBC's may engage in business in any country and in any currency by their choice. Capital and shares also may be denominated in any currency.
In Seychelles there are no foreign eschange controls and no restrictions on the movement of funds.
